About Me.

Hello! My name is James and I'm currently a full-time worker as well as a part-time college student! I'm majoring in game art and animation. In the future I hope to be an indie game developer, or maybe work as a character artist. I've loved art since I was a kid, and it's still a huge passion for me. I hope that I continue to improve and make my family proud!

Education

September 2022-Current

University of Advancing Technology

In my major I've been learning to do quite a few things. I've learned how to sculpt and animate in maya and 3ds max, how to make vector art, and have even made a small prototype for my own video game! I haven't been in this school for very long, but this will hopefully become a larger entry in the future.

Objectives

  1. Prototype and complete original games for multiple platforms following the full game production pipeline.

  2. Create and implement game elements, systems, and play mechanics using industry-standard tools, techniques, and production methods, including art or scripting/programming applications.

  3. Demonstrate effective game design practices and techniques within the project scope and context such as genre, style, platform, and audience.

  4. Demonstrate the ability to evaluate game designs for a variety of game play mechanics, game applications, and game genres.

  5. Effectively articulate game design elements and mechanics across disciplines utilizing written and verbal communication skills.
